1 March 2016 - EPWGC Kickoff Breakfast - Kay Breithaupt, EPWGC 2016 President, Jan Wheeler, departing member, and Deinise Boe, new member.

The 2016 Season Begins!  The EPWGC 2016 Season began on 1 March with a delicious breakfast at the Talon Grill. The 2016 Board Members, Committee and Tournament Chairpersons along with new members were all introduced.   If the great turn-out is any indication, there is lots of enthusiasm for this new season.  The EPWGC welcomes new members at any time throughout the year – just contact our New Member Committee (Paulette Peeters, pnpeeters@charter.net, or Anne Westerman, awester45@gmail.com) for more information.

Upcoming Events:  The EPWGC plays on Tuesdays from now until the end of October with various individual and team games beginning at 10:00 am until May 3^rd when the tee time changes to 9:00 am to accommodate our summer heat.  In addition to the weekly games, the first major event is the 2-day President’s Cup Tournament on May 17^th and 24^th.  This is a NET event and the winner’s name is engraved on the Presidents Cup that is displayed in the Pro Shop throughout the year.  Contact Kay Breithaupt (kayB1941@gmail.com) for more info on this event.

The EPWGC’s signature event is the Invitational Tournament that will be held on Wednesday, June 22^nd this year.  With a continental breakfast, lunch and numerous baskets and prizes to be awarded this is truly a fun event.  Membership in the EPWGC is not a requirement and players come from throughout the region to compete in this special tournament.  Volunteers are always needed and early sign-up for participants is encouraged.  Contact Judy Tonn, Invitational Chair (jtonn2@gmail.com) for more info.

Kick-Off Breakfast 2016

The Eagle Point Women's Golf Club will kick off the 2016 Season with a breakfast on TUESDAY,  MARCH 1 AT 8:00 A.M. AT THE TALON GRILL, located at the Eagle Point Golf Course.  Your choices will include a breakfast egg casserole, bacon and sausage, assorted breads, fruit bowl and coffee or tea.  All of this including the tip for $10.00 (payable by cash or check at the door).

New and returning members will be able to register for the 2016 season if you haven't already done so.  Refer to the membership applications for applicable annual fees which will be available in the Pro Shop, on-line shortly at eaglepointgolf.com., click on clubs/women's, or contact Lin.

The breakfast will include a brief general meeting and will be followed by our first day's play beginning at 10:00.  This will be our first Aces event - PLEASE  sign up in advance at the Pro Shop so that an appropriate number of tee times can be set aside for us.
